Purpose Description

Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is a mandatory testing item for surface water, industrial wastewater, domestic sewage, and other water bodies. It is an important indicator reflecting the pollution status of oxygen-consuming substances in water quality and one of the key indicators for national total emission control. The "Water Quality - Determination of Chemical Oxygen Demand - Potassium Dichromate Method" (HJ828-2017) is currently recognized as a relatively accurate and reliable detection method. However, the reflux digestion process of water samples is a temperature- and time-sensitive procedure. Poor control may lead to deviations in analysis results.

Our company extensively listens to user feedback and, based on the HJ828-2017 method, has developed this instrument. It replaces high-power electric furnaces with temperature-controlled electric heaters, uses automatic circulating water cooling instead of tap water cooling, and incorporates technologies such as automatic temperature control, micro-boiling state for 120 minutes with auto countdown, and automatic shutdown after digestion. These features ensure the operation method aligns with national standards, enabling one-click operation, automatic digestion, energy savings, and simplified usage while avoiding technical disputes caused by non-standard COD measurements.
