Instrument Introduction:
Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is a mandatory testing parameter for surface water, industrial wastewater, domestic sewage, and other water bodies. It serves as a crucial indicator reflecting the pollution status of water quality by oxygen-consuming substances and is one of the key metrics for national total emission control. The "Water Quality - Determination of Chemical Oxygen Demand - Potassium Dichromate Method" (HJ828-2017) is currently recognized as the most accurate and reliable detection method. However, the reflux digestion process of water samples is highly sensitive to temperature and time control, and improper handling may lead to analytical deviations.
Our company developed this instrument based on the HJ828-2017 method. It replaces high-power electric furnaces with PID-controlled electric heaters, uses air cooling instead of water condensation, and features one-click start, automatic temperature control, micro-boiling state for 120 minutes with auto-countdown, and automatic shutdown upon digestion completion. These technical solutions ensure alignment with national standard methods, offering one-click operation, automatic digestion, energy efficiency, and user-friendly simplicity while avoiding technical disputes arising from non-standard COD measurements.

  • Individual hole settings for heating temperature and digestion countdown, automatic stop upon completion;

  • Real-time monitoring of actual heating temperatures and countdown times for each digestion hole via front display;

  • Digestion Bottle Design: 300ml capacity allows direct titration post-digestion without liquid transfer;

  • 7-inch LCD touchscreen with splash-proof cover protection;

  • Operation Mode: One-click start after parameter setup automatically completes digestion (each hole reaches set temperature, initiates countdown, and stops automatically), eliminating manual supervision.
