The "2018 Excellent New Scientific Instrument Products" selection activity has entered the review stage. After preliminary review by the editor of the Instrument Information Network and the preliminary review by the new product review team of the Instrument Information Network, the first batch of finalists for this year's "Excellent New Scientific Instrument Products" has been determined.

The new product review team of the Instrument Information Network will invite nearly 100 senior experts in the industry to conduct online reviews of the shortlisted new products according to strict review procedures. The winning instruments will be announced and awarded certificates at the "2019 China Scientific Instrument Development Annual Conference", and the review results will be announced in multiple professional media.

The online application deadline for "2018 Excellent New Scientific Instrument Products" is January 15, 2019. Everyone is welcome to continue to apply. The second batch of shortlisted products will be announced around January 31, 2019.

It should be pointed out that although some manufacturers applied online, they failed to provide detailed and specific descriptions of the instrument innovation points, persuasive supporting materials and detailed instrument samples within the specified time, so they were not included in the shortlist this time. In addition, excellent foreign new products provided by non-exclusive agents cannot be selected. Since there are many manufacturers participating in the application and the products involved are also in many categories, it puts forward high requirements for the organization's certification work, so it is not ruled out that some highly professional instruments are not included in the review scope.

The shortlist will be published on the Instrument Information Network for 10 days. The detailed information of all shortlisted new products can be found in the New Products column. If you find that the information filled in for the shortlisted instrument does not match the actual situation, or that the instrument is not a new product launched in 2018, please report and reflect the situation to the New Product Review Group of the Instrument Information Network before January 3, 2019. Once verified, the New Product Review Group will cancel its shortlisted qualification.
