Comparative Study of Total Cyanide in Pre treated Water with Fully Automatic Distillation Instrument and Traditional Distillation Method

Abstract: A comparative study was conducted on the pretreatment methods of total cyanide in water. By comparing the detection limit, accuracy, spike recovery rate and precision of the methods, the results showed that the detection limit of the traditional distillation method and the STEHDB-106-3RW intelligent integrated distiller was 0.004 mg/L, which can meet the requirements of the relevant standards of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. The spike recovery rates of the two methods were 92% and 96%, respectively, and the precisions were 6.2% and 3.3%, respectively. Compared with the traditional distillation method, the STEHDB-106-3RW intelligent integrated distiller has relatively high accuracy and precision, and can save a lot of time and manpower, which is suitable for the analysis and determination of total cyanide in large quantities of water.

Comparison and Analysis of Different Pretreatment Methods on Total Cyanide in Water

Abstract: This article compared and analyzed different pretreatment methods on total cyanide in water through results of the detection limit, accuracy, the recovery of standard addition and precision. The result showed that the limit of the pretreatment of conventional distillation and STEHDB-106-3RW distillation was 0.004mg/L. of automatic distillations was higher. It took less time and less human resources by using automatic distillations. It is suitable for measurement of large quantities of total cyanide in water.
