Abstract: A comparative study was conducted on the pretreatment methods of total cyanide in water. By comparing the detection limit, accuracy, spike recovery rate and precision of the methods, the results showed that the detection limit of the traditional distillation method and the STEHDB-106-3RW intelligent integrated distiller was 0.004 mg/L , which can meet the requirements of the relevant standards of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. The spike recovery rates of the two methods were 92% and 96% , respectively, and the precisions were 6.2% and 3.3% , respectively. Compared with the traditional distillation method, the STEHDB-106-3RW intelligent integrated distiller has relatively high accuracy and precision, and can save a lot of time and manpower, which is suitable for the analysis and determination of total cyanide in large quantities of water.
